Uncle Sunny is the internal accuracy and compliance system that runs continuously behind every page on this platform. It is not a chatbot, not a customer service tool, and not a trading assistant. It is an automated audit engine with three distinct roles:

WATCHER — monitors all live data connections — market feeds, API endpoints, and content sources — and alerts the operations team if anything goes offline or returns unexpected data.
GUARD — sits at the publication gate. Every piece of content — insights, signals, articles — is scanned against a 14-pattern MiCA compliance ruleset before it is allowed into the database. Content that fails is blocked and discarded, not queued for review.
SCOUT — re-audits all published content on a four-hour cycle. It applies the same ruleset retroactively, so that content published before a rule was tightened can be caught and flagged.

WATCHER: Continuous Source Monitoring
Uncle Sunny's WATCHER role runs a live scan of all API endpoints and pages every four hours. It checks that data sources are responding, that timestamps are current, and that no endpoint has gone silent. If a source stops responding or returns stale data, WATCHER flags it before it can propagate to published content.
GUARD: Pre-Publication Compliance Check
Before any insight, signal, or article is saved to the platform, GUARD runs a 14-pattern MiCA compliance scan against the text. Content that makes unsubstantiated return claims, uses language that implies personalised guidance or recommendations, or references regulatory status without citing ESMA source data is blocked at the gate — it never reaches the database. HTTP 422 is returned and the content is discarded.
SCOUT: Post-Publication Audit
Every four hours, SCOUT re-scans all published content against the same 14-pattern ruleset. This catches edge cases that passed GUARD at publication time but may have become non-compliant as regulatory guidance evolved. Results are logged to the compliance audit ledger with full timestamps.
Public Ledger
Every SCOUT run is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log. The results below are pulled live from that log — they are never hardcoded.
